CHILD ADDICTED TO CELLPHONES,cell phone addiction, child addiction towards cellphone
cellphone addiction

Half of the parents spend their whole life in finding solution for "HOW TO KEEP THEIR CHILDREN AWAY FROM CELLPHONES".WHATTT????...You are also on same platform.Your child is also addicted to their smart phones and tablet?.Then you are not alone.47% of parents feels that their child is addicted to their mobile device, according to a new survey from non-profit common sense and survey monkey;32% of those parents feels the same about themselves. This january, the survey of 1,024 parents with children younger than 18.
Same with you tube,it's also contrubiting the same worries.62% of parents whose children watch you tube videos, they said their kids are watchin inappropriate videos, and you will get surprised to know that 37% of parents have not used parental controls and another 22% didn't evev know about parental control.
I think now a days keeping away your child from tech devices are more difficult than getting a job.I know you tube is a big factor of worring because ounce a time i was also addicted.but that time i was not knowing the disadvantages of cellphones,as now our child are not knowing. But kow i became mother of a baby girl and now i can feel how disgusting it is.
And now the king of our chilren's life FACEBOOK. This i tell you..the most trending worry point for parents. And the interesting thing you ,they launched "messenge kids". Thefirst ap designed specifically for kids.Is this a kind of joke, they know the weak point of children.
Around 100 child advocates and experts have urged facebook to discontinue this app because every people knows,it is not good for child's healthy development."younger childrens are simply not ready to have social media"the group wrote."they are not old enough to navigate the complexities of online relationship.Which often leads to misunderstanding and conflicts even among more mature users. They also do ot fullf developed understanding of privacy , including whats's inappropriate to share ,who has access to their conversation, pictures and videos. And you know what..,facebook has done just opposite .ts has made the messenge kids app more widely available.
today i am felling very bad that these social media apps that let our teens to do this all like text, chat, meet people and share their pic and videos..often fly under parents radar.Same with our other apps also, such as-instagram,snapchat,twitter,have proven their staying power.Today's kids are very smart, they search whats trending app right now, then they download and also spread among friends. However modern parents have many things to take care of their child.one of these things make them assure that their kinds are safe i.e PARENTAL CONTROL
Now, What are Parental Control ?

Parental controls are software and tools that allow parents to set controls on their children’s internet use. They are a great way of helping prevent children from accessing unsuitable content online.Internet Matters has developed a web that allows you to create a personalised checklist for setting parental controls in your home and on your family’s devices. This contains help and advice on setting the controls for your home broadband and the mobile devices your family may use, including how-to videos and step-by-step guides.

HERE ARE SOME SITES YOU NEED TO ADD TO YOUR BLOCK LOST

 Match.com, MeetMe, Tinder, etc.

You may not believe it, but a big percentage of teens use dating websites. There are many sites created specifically for teens (which are also not that safe), but the truth is that teens use dating sites for adults, as well. How would you feel if your kid was communicating and flirting with some middle-aged person? Some kids do it for fun, some look for the relationships, but either way it is not appropriate for children to use such sites, so you should definitely add them to the list of websites to block for children.

PornHub, Kink, Youjizz.com etc. -

Well, this is completely self-explanatory. There are many sites with explicit content that should be forbidden for kids. And since they can easily lie about their age and watch a bunch of inappropriate videos and pictures, the best option is to block such sites.

Omegle, Chatroulette, Flipchart, etc

Teens cannot live without chatting online these days. And it is one thing when they talk to their friends. When they talk to strangers in different chat rooms, there is always a risk of getting in trouble. The majority of these chats are anonymous and you never know who you’re going to talk to next. Be sure to find and block all the major chat rooms you can find.
There are also some video chat rooms that you should add to the list of websites to block for kids such as Omegle or Chatroulette. Even if teens go there with the good intentions of meeting friends, there is just too much explicit content.

Poker online, addictive video games

Kids can easily fall for addictive games. That is why it is essential to block all the big sites where you can gamble or play some game for free at first and then have to pay to continue. These websites should definitely be blocked.

Snapchat, Whisper, Yik Yak, etc.

It should be solely up to parents to decide whether to allow their kids creating social profiles. However, there are some social networks worth blocking for valuable reasons. For example, the sites and apps such as Whisper, Yik Yak, and others bear many dangers for kids including cyberbullying, online scams, sexting, etc.
Controlling your kids’ usage of the Internet today is as important as controlling their eating habits. The things they see and read online as well as the activities they get involved into can form their character and influence their mental development. Make sure their online experiences do not involve anything similar to the listed websites. And do not forget to block website

What is Tik Tok (formerly musical.ly)?

TIK Tok (formerly known as musical.ly) is a social media platform for creating, sharing and discovering short music videos, think Karaoke for the digital age. The app musical.ly was used by young people as an outlet to express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-syncing. The app is now called Tik Tok, complete with a new logo, has all of the same features as musical.ly and allows users to create videos recorded in 15 seconds or less and share them across a community. The Tik Tok newsroom states:
“TikTok incorporates the most popular elements of both apps with a feed that highlights the users’ community, in addition to a “For You” feed that uniquely serves a curation of personalized video recommendations based on viewing preferences. The app will also introduce new upcoming features including:

  • A “reaction” feature that allows user to react friends’ videos directly from the phone
  • Enhanced creative tools like interactive gesture filters unlock features such as funhouse mirror camera effects;
  • VR-type filters that can be activated just by blinking;
  • Green screen-like background effects”

So what’s different?
  1. More special effects and interactive features
  2. Broader focus, not just dance and lip sync
  3. More challenges and dares, themed skits and pranks
  4. More interaction and collaboration on videos
  5. Broader demographic – more adults are making videos
  6. Live video streaming more prominent
Adult Content
Some content in the videos is very mature. I’ve seen videos with self-harm themes, drug and alcohol use, explicit sexual references, explicit language and lyrics, and dangerous behaviour. This adult content is easily found by simply scrolling through the “For You” feed.
Sexualised Children
There are many videos of children miming songs with explicit sexual adult language and behaving in sexualised ways.
Bullying

It is still a big issue, with harassment in the comments and parody videos being created to humiliate and tease some users, particularly users with disabilities. There are quite a few videos from users calling out the bullies also.
Self Harm
Although many of the better known and more obvious hashtag search terms are hidden now, new variations of the #hashtags are created daily. I saw a lot of videos around the theme of loneliness, self-harm, and depression. I also saw some comments where people were encouraging self-harm.
Young Users
Although there seems to be an increase in adults creating videos on this app, many younger children are still using the app below the recommended age. I’ve seen children that look as young as seven years of age posting videos publicly.
Privacy Safety Settings:
Teens should set their account to a private account and not share their videos publicly to protect themselves.
To find the privacy and safety settings go to your profile and click the … icon top right of the screen. Then scroll down to “Privacy and Safety” Set “Private Account” to the Green/On position.
You can also restrict who you can interact with you on the app via messaging or responses to your videos, set to “Friends”, or switch to “Off”.
Is It Safe For Kids?
The app is rated 16+ by Commonsense Media, although the app is rated on iTunes at 13+ I would agree with Commonsense Media’s assessment of 16+ preferably 13+ minimum depending on the maturity of the teen. This is due to the adult content, self-harm themes in some videos, frequent bullying, live streaming interactivity and the social side of the app. The privacy settings need to be enabled for teens and younger children, but there is no way to lock them on. Use of this app takes a mature person who can deal with bullying, possible sharing of their videos beyond their friends and inappropriate comments, random friend requests, and explicit language and adult themes.
NOW ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT YOUR CHILD,DONT WORRY I AM HERE TO SOLVE YOUR ALL YOUR PROBLEMS:

Here are some ways in which we can keep our children away from both smartphones and their harmful radiation.

Keep your child engaged: With shrinking play spaces, more and more children are forced to stay indoors. As a result, children spend their time playing with toys. Some also get hooked to gadgets like smartphones, which also double up as entertainment devices. To prevent this from happening, take your child out to the park or some nearby playground to allow him to spend his time running and playing. If that is not an option, enrol him in a neighbourhood sports club.
Restrict the use: As smartphones are now an inseparable part of our lives, it is difficult to keep them away from children. Sooner or later, your child may become hooked to them. Therefore, it is important to make your child understand that she can use the smartphone, but only for a short time. Discourage its use during mealtimes, study hours, bedtime or when it’s time to go out and play.
Talk to your child: The vibrant colours and animations appearing on the smartphone screen appear attractive to children. Talk to your child and make him aware of the harmful effects of smartphone usage on health. Show him charts that explain the various adverse effects or one of the videos available on Youtube.
Set passwords: It is not always possible for you to be around your child to dissuade him from using a smartphone. In such a situation, technology itself can come to your rescue. Set a password on your phone so that your child cannot use it while you are away.
Set a good example: There are a number of parents who spend a lot of time on their smartphones. In such cases, instructing children may not be of much use, as they are bound to follow their parents’ footsteps. So, be a good role model for your child by limiting your usage of the phone. However, if your profession demands using phones a lot, do it away from the eyes of your child.
Bond with your child: Although most parents lead very busy lives, it is important to take the time out for family bonding activities with children. Playing board games or engaging your child along with you in activities such as cooking or gardening will keep her away from smartphones. You can also join your child in pursuing hobbies like listening to music, reading or painting

  1. Health and fitness addiction can be just as severe as any other addiction. It can imprison us into destructive, compulsive activities. We can place our families, our careers, even, ironically, our health at risk through addiction to exercise and other fitness activities. The good news is, there is hope for anyone willing to live in and work on recovery. Drug Rehabilitation Centre in Pune
